Łowczy ("Master of the Royal Hunt") was since the 13th Century a court office in Poland. Responsible for the hunting duty, served also on courts of magnates. He organized hunts and guarded royal forests from poachers.

Since the 15th Century a honorable title and district office in Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
