The Green Album
Weezer, commonly referred to as The Green Album, is a 2001 album by the band Weezer. (Weezer was also the name of the band's 1994 debut album, which is commonly referred to as The Blue Album.) The album was released on May 15, 2001. Fans of the band generally agree that the songwriting and short disc length of this recording are a step backward from 1996's Pinkerton. The biggest radio hits and likely the most famous songs from the album are "Hash Pipe" and "Island in the Sun".
