Sylwester Kaliski (1925 - 1978) was a Polish engineer.

Kaliski was a specialist in the field of applied physics - he developed theory of continuous amplification of ultra and hiper-sounds in semiconductive crystals , obtained plasma temperature of tens of millions of degrees Kelvin using laser impulse.
