The Toronto St. Michael's Majors, commonly known as the St. Mike's Majors, are a junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League. They play out of the St. Michael's College School Arena (capacity: 1,600) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The current franchise was granted August 15, 1996. All of the players attend St. Michael's College School in Toronto. Originally owned by St. Michael's College School, the team is now owned by Eugene Melnyk , who is the current owner of the Ottawa Senators and CEO of Biovail Corporation .
Although the team did not play major junior hockey between 1961 and 1996, over 150 members have gone on to play in the National Hockey League, including eight members of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
