History

The group got together in 1991 originally to contribute a song to a Half A Cow records compilation, however the line-up worked so well that the band went on record and release their debut release, the Don't Want To Be Grant McLennan 7" single, that year on Half A Cow. The initial line-up for the band was: Tom Morgan (guitar, vocals), Alison Galloway (drums), Paul Duncan (bass).

Several more releases followed, then in 1994 bassist Paul Duncan left the band to complete his business studies degree, and was replaced by former Headache bassist, Adam Yee. The line-up has remained the same ever since, with the exception of 1997 and 1998 when Pete Kelly (ex-Disneyfist, Sea Life Park, Decoder Ring) joined the band on second guitar, and helped record the album, Real McCoy, Wrong Sinatra.

From late October 1999 till 2002 the band went on an extended hiatus while drummer Alison went trekking across the world.
