Skeeter Valentine was Doug's best friend on the animated television show "Doug" and later "Brand Spankin' New Doug," and finally "Disney's Doug."

Skeeter (whose real name is "Mosquito Valentine") is from a blue-skinned family who lives in Bluffington . His dad has a foul temper but slow vocabulary, his mother was kind-hearted and rather meek, and he had a mischevious brother named Dale who once gave Doug a hard time when he babysat him. He also had an on-again/off-again relationship with Bebe Bluff , and once had a crush on a girl by the name of Loretta. Skeeter helped Doug order from the popular Bluffington restaurant "The Honker Burger " in the series premiere, and later helped him to learn to dance and introduced him to the popular band The Beets.

He had a superhero alter ego by the name of Silver Skeeter , who helped Quailman , Doug's superhero alterego, in several situations. It has been revealed that Skeeter is a genius, later gaining the respect of Al and Mo Sleech. He is often laid-back and willing to take any situation in stride. His hobbies include air guitar, listening to The Beets, and hanging at the Honker Burger.
