Scott O'Grady is a captain of the United States Air Force.
O'Grady gained prominence after he was shot down in his F-16 on June 2, 1995 while patrolling the no-fly zone over Bosnia. He was rescued six days later, on 8 June, by the U.S. Marines.
He is a former cadet in the Civil Air Patrol.
