Roderick "Rod" Smith (born May 15, 1970, in Texarkana, Arkansas) is an American football player who currently plays wide receiver for the Denver Broncos of the NFL. Interstingly. he played quarterback and not wide receiver at Missouri Southern State University. He was signed by the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 1994.

He was selected to play in the Pro Bowl in 2000 and 2001.
