Operation Rifles Blitz was a series of patrols and checkpoints set up at the Iraqi frontiers with Saudi Arabia, Syria and Jordan by the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment during the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

The object of these patrols and checkpoints was to prevent infiltrators from reinforcing Iraqi insurgency fighters and to capture members of the old regime attempting to escape.
