Neuroimaging is the term used for all invasive, minimally invasive and non-invasive methods and techniques used for obtaing structural and functional images of the nervous system, i.e., the peripheral nervous system, the spinal cord and the brain.

Among the most used methods of neuroimaging are:

• Magnetic resonance imaging

• Positron-emission tomography (PET)
• SPECT - Single photon emission tomography
