Michelle Stephenson was briefly a member of the British vocal girl band, the Spice Girls. She was born on 3rd January 1977.

She was one of the five people originally selected, but she did not seem 100% committed to the group, and after a few months the management sacked her and replaced her with Emma Bunton, although if they had not done so she would probably have drifted out anyway.

In a TV interview a few years later Stephenson said that it would have been nice to have had the money, but she didn't entirely regret breaking with the group, she had been able to do some other things e.g. study French at university.
