Michael Kidd (b. 1919) is an American film and stage choreographer. His best-known work is likely Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, for which Kidd designed a series of energetic dances depicting ordinary frontier activities, most famously a barn raising. The shows he choreographed for the Broadway stage include the original productions of Finian's Rainbow, Love Life, Arms and the Girl , Guys and Dolls, Can-Can, Li'l Abner, Destry Rides Again, Wildcat, Subways Are For Sleeping , Here's Love , Ben Franklin in Paris , Skyscraper, and The Rothschilds.
