Michael Keaton
Michael Keaton, (born September 9 or September 5, 1951 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania) is an American actor.
Keaton was born in an Irish Catholic family of 7 kids.
Keaton's real name is Michael John Douglas, but he could not use his real last name professionally because the actors' union doesn't allow two people to use the same name. So he couldn't use Mike Douglas or Michael Douglas (the son of Kirk Douglas). He picked "Keaton" after Buster Keaton, the silent-film star.
Keaton is known for his work in films such as Batman, Beetlejuice, and Multiplicity.
Trivia
- He had a long relationship with American actress Courteney Cox.
