• Amelia Earheart & her plane (lost 1937)
• The ancient city Troy (may have been found by Schliemann, though this has been disupted) (lost ?? BC)
• Missing (erased) early episodes of cult television show Doctor Who (pieces found every now and then in odd places) (cf Doctor Who Restoration Team )
• the lost dialogues of Aristotle
• The Mahogany Ship (an ancient shipwreck somewhere near Warnambool ,Victoria (Australia)) (last seen 1880)
