The London Borough of Barnet is a London borough of northern outer London. It includes the areas:
The borough was formed in 1965 from areas of Middlesex (boroughs of Finchley and Hendon, and Friern Barnet urban district) and part of Hertfordshire (East Barnet and Barnet urban districts).
Middlesex University Business School is located in Barnet.
Demographics
According to the 2001 census the borough has a population of 314,564. The borough is 74% White, 9% Indian and 4% Black African. It has the largest Jewish population in the UK at 14.8%. 67% of householders are owner-occupiers.
