List of law schools in Canada

This is a list of law schools and law faculties in Canada.

While Canada is mostly a common law jurisdiction, the province of Quebec uses the civil law system (as do many European countries). As a result, Quebec's French language law schools, namely the Université de Montréal, Université de Sherbrooke, and Laval University, are exclusively civil law schools. Dual degree programs, where the common law and civil law degrees can be obtained simultaneously, are available at the University of Ottawa and McGill University, and these joint programs allow both degrees to be completed in four years.

Carleton University, Laurentian University, and the Université du Québec à Montréal offer undergraduate and graduate programs in law, but such degrees are not professional degrees, nor do they confer the ability to practice law in any jurisdiction.
