Life After Death

Image:NotoriousB.I.G.LifeAfterDeath.jpg
Life after Death is the final album by East Coast rapper Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie Smalls), released on March 25, 1997 (see 1997 in music). A double album that acts as a sequel of sorts to Ready to Die (1994, see 1994 in music), Life After Death is widely regarded as Biggie's best album in his short career, cut short by his murder soon after the release of Life After Death. Featuring collaborations with Jay-Z, Lil Kym, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Mase and Puff Daddy, among others, the album made Biggie one of the biggest stars in mid-1990s hip hop and is remembered as a classic of gangsta rap.
