Janusz Kamiński (born 27 June 1959) is an Oscar winning cinematographer who has worked on most of Steven Spielberg's movies.

Kaminski attended Columbia College in Chicago from 1982 to 1987 before transferring to The American Film Institute, where he graduated. He took up film making as a profession at Columbia College after emmigrating to the US at age 21. He was born in Ziembice , Poland. He is married to Holly Hunter, an American actress.
