The International Islamic University is an important Islamic university located in Islamabad, Pakistan.

There is another institution in Malaysia of the same name, officially called The International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), situated in the suburb of Gombak just outside Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysian institution is completely distinct from the one in Islamabad, though comparisons between the two are inevitable.
