Freedom is an album by Neil Young, released in 1989 (see 1989 in music).

The album contains one of Young's most important songs -- "Rockin' in the Free World". The lyrics became anthems for two historic events of 1989: 1) student protests in China's Tiananmen Square and 2) the fall of the Berlin Wall [1].

Several of the songs on Freedom previously appeared on the Japan only EP Eldorado.

The song "Rockin' in The Free World" was also used over the final credits of Michael Moore's film Fahrenheit 9/11.
