Frederick Edwin Church

Frederick Edwin Church (1826-1900) was a nineteenth century American artist. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut and studied under Thomas Cole. A member of the Hudson River School, he is best known for large panoramic landscapes such as Niagara Falls and Heart of the Andes.
