Eric Peter Karros (born November 4, 1967 in Hackensack, New Jersey) is a former standout first baseman in Major League Baseball who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1991-2002. He ranks as the all-time leading home run hitter in Los Angeles Dodgers history and ranks second in runs batted in. He was named National League Rookie of the Year in 1992 and finished fifth in the Most Valuable Player voting in 1995. He finished his career with the Chicago Cubs (2003) and Oakland Athletics (2004).
