Edna Bay is a census-designated place located in Prince of Wales-Outer Ketchikan Census Area, Alaska. As of the 2000 census, the population of the CDP is 49.

Geography

Edna Bay is located at 55°58'43" North, 133°40'35" West (55.978539, -133.676356).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 152.3 km² (58.8 mi²). 145.0 km² (56.0 mi²) of it is land and 7.3 km² (2.8 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 4.80% water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 49 people, 19 households, and 14 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 0.3/km² (0.9/mi²). There are 40 housing units at an average density of 0.3/km² (0.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 95.92% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 4.08% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 19 households out of which 36.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.2% are married couples living together, 0.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.3% are non-families. 26.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 10.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.58 and the average family size is 3.14.
