Dynamics (mechanics)

In physics, dynamics is the branch of mechanics that is concerned with the effects of forces on the motion of objects. The latter distinguishes it from statics.

In economics, dynamics has substantially the same meaning as in physics. However, this kind of economics is less developed that is static economics, at least when it comes to mathematical economics. Change over time is often treated as simply a version of statics.
