Craig Kilborn

Craig Kilborn (born August 24, 1962) is an American comedian and talk show host, born in Hastings, Minnesota.

Kilborn played college basketball for Montana State University. He was the play-by-play commentator for the Savannah Spirits of the Continental Basketball Association, starting in 1986, a job which lasted for two seasons until the team left for Tulsa, Oklahoma . From 1993 to 1996, he was a host of ESPN's SportsCenter.

From 1996 to 1998, Kilborn was host of The Daily Show with Craig Kilborn on Comedy Central. On March 30, 1999 he replaced Tom Snyder as host on the The Late Late Show on CBS. The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn airs nightly on CBS immediately following The Late Show with David Letterman.

Kilborn made his motion picture acting debut with a small role in Old School (2003). Kilborn has a son, Jonathan, who was born in 1987.

On August 8, 2004, Kilborn made a one-night return to SportsCenter as part of ESPN's 25th anniversary celebration. That night, he co-hosted with Dan Patrick.

His contract with CBS expired and he declined to renew it so he could pursue other interests. His last show was broadcast on August 27, 2004.
