Born Free
Born Free is a book written by Joy Adamson in the 1960s about an orphaned lioness, Elsa, which is released back to the wild in Kenya.
It was made into a film of the same name in 1966 directed by James Hill , starring Virginia McKenna and Bill Travers . The song "Born Free" was written by John Barry.
