Ari Meyers

Ari Meyers (born April 6, 1969, San Juan, Puerto Rico) is an actress who is best known for her role as "Emma Jane McArdle" in the Kate & Allie (1984) TV series.

Ari's mother is the actress Tara Meyers, who appeared in the television soap opera Another World.

At a young age Ari, showed that she had an artistic inclination. When Ari was 4 years old, she penned a play called "The Super Majic Show" for her nursery school. She wrote the script and songs. Ari even directed the "actors" in her little play.

In 1980, Ari landed her first major role as the stepdaughter of Al Pacino in the movie Author! Author! . That year, she also landed the role of "Emma Jane McArdle" on the T.V. series Kate & Allie. Meanwhile, Ari also continued to take advanced courses in school.

In 1990, Ari left Kate & Allie and used her earnings to finish her studies at Yale University. She graduated with honors and a double major in Philosophy and Theatre Arts .

After graduating, Ari was mostly cast to portray characters much younger than herself. Ari has also lent her voice in the recording of several audio books. Some of these are The Amy Fisher Story, The Wish and A Kitten's Tale.

In 2003, Ari appeared in the play Theophilies North in New York City and in 2004 she participated in the play Little Willy .
