Antonio da Sangallo the Elder
Antonio da Sangallo the Elder (c.1453-1534) was a Florentine architect active during the Italian Renaissance. His father Francesco Giamberti was a woodworker, and his brother Giuliano da Sangallo and nephew Antonio da Sangallo the Younger were architects.
His work includes:
- The church of San Biagio at Montepulciano.
