Alec Peterson
Alec Peterson was the founding light behind the International Baccalaureate. He was born in Edinburgh in 1908. He attended Balliol College, Oxford and entered the teaching profession in 1932. During World War II he was Deputy Director of pyschological warfare for South-East Asia Command . He later became headmaster of Dover College and head of the department of educational studies at Oxford University.
