The 2002 Dudley earthquake was an earthquake registering 5.0 on the Richter scale that struck the Midlands of England, United Kingdom on 23 September 00:54 UTC (01:54 local time) and lasted approximately 20 seconds. It was the largest earthquake to hit the UK for nearly 10 years, but there were no fatalities. The epicentre was located near Brick Kiln Lane, Dudley.
