6 ) is a corporation which owns the restaurant chains KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, A&W Restaurants, and Long John Silver's.
It was created as Tricon Global Restaurants in October 1997 when PepsiCo spun off its restaurant holdings. In May 2002, with the acquisition of A&W and Long John Silver's, Tricon changed its name to Yum!.
Yum! is based in Louisville, Kentucky.
