Witchfinder General is a 1968 horror film by American International Pictures.

It stars Vincent Price in the role of Matthew Hopkins, the historical Puritan witchhunter, and is set during the period of the English Civil War. The film was directed by Michael Reeves. In the United States the film was called The Conqueror Worm to link it with Vincent Price's series of Edgar Allen Poe films, although this movie has little to do with the Poe story and only alludes to the poem.

In 2004 the magazine Total Film named Witchfinder General the 28th greatest British film of all time.
