Warner Bros.-Seven Arts

Warner Bros.-Seven Arts was formed in 1967, when Seven Arts Productions Ltd. acquired Jack Warner's controlling interest in Warner Bros. studio for $85 million. It also acquired Warner Bros. Records and Reprise Records in the deal. That same year, Seven Arts also purchased Atlantic Records.

Two years later, the company was bought out by Kinney National Company. Kinney also purchased Elektra Records from Jac Holzman, and in 1971 renamed itself Warner Communications.
