The Trompia valley is a Bresciane valley and is 50 km long in lentgh from. It is the only valley that has no glacial geomrphologic activity. It includes the Mella river. It runs from north to south and is crystally massive in Tre Valle which is a valley from the Po plain to Brescia.
The name originates from the ancient-Rhaeto people, the Triumplini . The tribes in the Roman times was more complex than Galli Cenomani or Cenomanes of Brixia . It constructed the defensive area north of the city of Valle di Adriano .
Mining has been common since the antiquity. It included the development of iron mines During the Venetian times, taxes were requires. It lies next to the valleys of Gobbia near Lumezzane and Avogadro .
