Trần Đức Lương (陳德良, born May 5, 1937) is the President of Vietnam.
He was born in Quang Ngai province , and moved to Hanoi after leaving school in 1955. He studied geology, and was employed as a cartographer. He joined the Communist Party of Vietnam in 1959, and became a functionary of the party in the 1970s. In 1987 he became Deputy Prime Minister. Member of the Politburo since June 1996, he was elected President September 24, 1997 and re-elected in 2002.
On May 7, 2004, President Tran Duc Luong rejected Nam Cam's appeal of execution.
