Pima Air & Space Museum

The Pima Air & Space Museum is the world's largest non-government funded aerospace museum.

Opened to the public in May 1976 with 75 aircraft on display it now contains a collection with over 250 aircraft occupying 80 acres (320,000 m²) of land. The entire museum property covers about 150 acres (610,000 m²).

Located in Tucson, Arizona at 6000 East Valencia Road, the museum is open daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm with a last admittance at 4:00pm. Call (520) 574-0462 for details.

The museum is adjacent to the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, one of the largest aircraft storage and preservation facilities in the world.

The Titan Missile Museum is run by the Pima Air Museum. It is located south of Tucson and features a Titan II intercontinental ballistic missile still in its silo. Tours of the above and underground installations around the missile are available.
