Thomas Hamilton (architect)

Thomas Hamilton, (1784 - 1858) was a Scottish architect, based in Edinburgh. His works include: the Dean Orphan Hospital, now the Dean Gallery; the Royal High School on Calton Hill, long considered as home for the Scottish Parliament; George IV bridge, which spans the Cowgate; and the Royal College of Physicians.
