The Genesis Flood: The Bible Record and its Scientific Implications is a 1961 book by the young earth creationists John C. Whitcomb and Henry M. Morris. The authors propose that there is a scientific basis for Creationism as told in the Biblical book of Genesis. The book is seen as one of the most important in the history of creationism as it popularised their ideas of flood geology. Flood geology however was rejected by the scientific community as being pseudoscience and having no factual basis.
