The Blue Lagoon is a 1980 romance film directed by Randal Kleiser . The screenplay by Douglas Day Stewart was based on the novel by Henry De Vere Stacpoole . The score was composed and conducted by Basil Poledouris.
Synopsis
The film is about two young children stranded on a tropical island after a shipwreck. Emotional feeling arises as they reach the puberty period and begin to discover their sexuality.
