Sylvain Chomet (1963 - ) is a French animator and film director who has worked with Nicolas De Crécy .

In 1998, he directed a short cartoon film, La Vieille Dame et les pigeons , which won both César and Oscar awards. His feature-length animated film, Les Triplettes de Belleville (Canada 2003), was also nominated for an Oscar.

He works actually on another long feature animated film, Attila Marcel , that could be finished in 2004.
