Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (IATA Airport Code: CGK, ICAO Airport Code: WIII) is the principal airport serving the greater Jakarta area on the island of Java, Indonesia. It is located about 20 km west of central Jakarta, in Cengkareng in Banten province. The airport became operational in the mid 1980s, replacing the old airport at Kemayoran in north Jakarta.

It has two independent parallel runways separated by distance of 2,400 meters connected by a cross taxi-way.

  • South R/W 07R/25L : 3,660 m x 60 m
  • North R/W 07L/25R : 3,600 m x 60 m

There are two main terminal buildings: Terminal I is for all domestic services apart from Garuda Indonesia, and Terminal II serves all international flights as well as all domestic flights by Garuda.

The airport is named after the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno, and the first vice-president, Mohammad Hatta.
