Schedule (broadcasting)

Scheduling, in the traditional (TV and Radio) sense, is the placement of content against a linear timeline for transmission on a broadcast station.

A more modern interpretation would be that of "the curation of a linear playlist of video/audio content for live transmission or on-demand distribution". This would apply to both internet distribution and traditional broadcasting.

Scheduling implies human intervention and/or direct aesthetic choice of content from an editorial perspective.
