Rosamond McKitterick

Rosamond McKitterick is one of Britain's foremost medieval historians, Professor of Medieval History in the University of Cambridge and a fellow of the Royal Historical Society and Newnham College, Cambridge. Much of her work focuses on the Frankish kingdoms in the 8th and 9th centuries and uses paleographical and manuscript studies to illuminate aspects of political, cultural, intellectual, religious and social history of the early middle ages.
