Pulseless Electrical Activity is a phenomenon where the heart still conducts the electrical impulses required to stimulate the heart, but the heart does not respond. This may simulate any rhythm. automated_external_defibrillators will not respond to this rhythm, unless it recognizes it as ventricular_tachycardia or ventricular_fibrillation.
