Prešeren's Square (Slovenian: Prešernov trg) is the main square in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. In the center of this square, the statue of the most important Slovenian poet France Prešeren and his Muse is situated. On the north, the baroque style Franciscan parish church of the Annunciation (Frančiškanska cerkev Marijinega oznanenja or just Frančiškanska cerkev). One of the main streets in Ljubljana, Čopova street, leads to the northwest towards Nama (National magazine; an emporium). On the south side, the river Ljubljanica flows past the square, and is traversed by the city's most famous bridge, named Tromostovje (Three bridges), designed in 1929 by Jože Plečnik. A road towards the town hall passes on this bridge. On the east lies the building of the Central pharmacy . To the west, the Wolf's street (Wolfova ulica) leads on the Congress Square (Kongresni trg).
