Personal information manager
A Personal Information Manager is a software application that keeps track of personal information such as:
- E-mails
- Address books
- Calendars
- Task list s
- Task scheduling (invitations etc)
- Notice s
There are several software packages that do this. Some can also synchronize the required information with a personal digital assistant (PDA), such as a Palm Pilot or similar. They are also collectively called Personal Information Management software, or PIM software.
