Molly Hatchet

Molly Hatchet is a southern rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1975 (see 1975 in music). The band took its name from a legendary Southern prostitute who supposedly mutilated and decapitated her clients.

On Thursday, March 10, 2005, after the former singer-songwriter Danny Joe Brown was hospitalized in 4 weeks, he is found dead at the age of 53 at his home in Davie, Florida of complications from pneumonia, he also suffered from a stroke during the 1998 operation.
