Mohammed Odeh al-Rehaief

Mohammed Odeh al-Rehaief (born circa 1970) is an attorney from Iraq that helped the United States armed forces in the rescue of Jessica Lynch while she was being held as a prisoner of war in a hospital in Nasiriyah. The U.S. government granted him humanitarian parole on April 28, 2003 for his help. That same year, Mohammed published the book Because Each Life Is Precious (ISBN 0060590548) as an autobiography in which he explains the situation in Iraq and why he decided to help Lynch.
