Miklós Rózsa

Miklós Rózsa (April 18, 1907 - July 23, 1995) was a Hungarian-American composer, best known for his film scores. He was born in Budapest. The recipient of 17 Academy Award nominations, he won 3 Oscars: for Spellbound, A Double Life, and Ben-Hur (1959).

Concert works

His best known concert work is the orchestral Theme, Variations and Finale. There is also an early string trio, a piano quintet, two string quartets, concertos for violin, viola, cello and for violin and cello, and other works.
