This is a list of best selling singles in the United Kingdom.
In November 2002, to mark the 50th anniversary of the first British singles chart, The Official UK Charts Company issued the following list of Britain's "best-selling" singles since 1952. Audited sales figures to the end of September 2002 are given in brackets.
